Twin Tide

A reef where symbols pair up

Twin Tide takes place on a coral reef in clear turquoise water. Five reels, three rows, 243 ways from the left. Sea turtles, manta rays, seahorses and lionfish are the higher symbols; corals, starfish, shells and urchins the lower ones. The pearl wild lands on the middle three reels.

Any regular symbol can arrive as a twin, marked with a small ×2 badge. A twin counts twice on its reel, so a win that passes through it is made twice as many ways. Two twins on different reels of the same win make it four times as many, and so on. In the base game about one cell in twelve is a twin.

The conch and the bonus spins

Three golden conches start six bonus spins in which twins become three times more common. Another three conches during the bonus add three spins, up to fifteen. The bonus is where the larger returns tend to come from, but it is uncommon, so treat each visit as its own thing. A run without a bonus is normal and does not make the next spin any more likely to bring one.
