Six reels and a climbing board

Summit Surge is a mountain built from ice and coloured crystal. Six reels show three rows each in the base game, and wins are counted by ways: any matching symbols on neighbouring reels from the left count, whatever row they sit in. With three rows that is 729 ways on every spin.

The summit flag is the feature symbol. Three or more anywhere hand back a little of the stake and start eight bonus spins. In those spins the reels grow: four rows, then five, then six, then seven for every spin after that. At seven rows the board has more than a hundred thousand ways, which is why the bonus can return many times the stake, and also why the base game between bonuses is lean.

A game with long gaps

This is the most uneven game on the roster. The flags arrive roughly once every two hundred spins on average, but averages say nothing about a single visit: you can meet them twice in ten minutes or not at all in an hour. Decide how many sparks the visit gets before you start, and do not chase the climb. When the stake you set aside is gone, that is the end of the session, not a reason to try one more.

How to play Summit Surge

  1. Pick a stake and press Spin. Wins are counted by ways: matching symbols on neighbouring reels from the left, in any row.
  2. A win on three or more reels returns the pay-table amount times the stake for each way it can be made.
  3. The glacier wild lands on reels 2 to 5 and stands in for every symbol except the summit flag.
  4. Three or more summit flags anywhere return a small amount and start 8 bonus spins.
  5. In bonus spins the reels have 4 rows, then 5, then 6, then 7 for the rest. Three flags in a bonus spin add 4 more spins, up to 20 in total.
