1. About these terms

Corvathane (“we”, “us”) runs the website corvathane.com. By using the site you agree to these terms, to our privacy notice and to our cookies and storage notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Who may use the site

Corvathane is for adults aged 18 or over who are in the United Kingdom. By confirming your age you tell us you are at least 18. If you are under 18 you must not use the site. We may close access on any device where the age question is answered “under 18”.

3. Sparks have no value

The games use sparks, a points currency given free to every visitor. Sparks have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, exchanged or redeemed for money, goods, services or anything else, on this site or elsewhere. There are no prizes of monetary value. We may reset, change or remove sparks at any time, for example when the site is updated.

4. No purchases

Nothing on Corvathane is for sale. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, paid upgrades or paid advertising. If anyone asks you to pay for sparks or for anything connected to Corvathane, it is not us; please tell us at hello@corvathane.com.

5. The games

The games are for entertainment only. No real money play is possible. Outcomes are decided by your browser's random number generator using the pay tables printed on each game page. Playing or success in these games does not imply future success at real-money gambling. If a game shows an obvious error, the result of the affected round does not count and we may correct it.

6. Your Codex and settings

Your sparks, Codex, settings and pauses are kept in your own browser. We do not hold a copy and cannot restore them if they are cleared, lost or moved to another device. Session reminders, round limits and pauses are tools to help you; they are not a substitute for professional support, which is listed on Responsible Play.

7. Inside and other websites

Inside contains our own reviews of games made by other companies and people, with links to their official websites. We are not connected with those makers, are not paid by them and are not responsible for their sites, terms, accounts, adverts or content. Names and trademarks belong to their owners. Their own terms apply when you use their games.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not use the site for anything unlawful, try to break or overload it, interfere with its security, copy it in bulk with automated tools, or send messages through the contact form that are abusive, misleading or spam. We may block access that breaks these rules.

9. Our content

The games, code, names, text and artwork of Corvathane belong to us or our licensors. You may view and play them for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, adapt or republish them without our written permission, except where the law allows.

10. Availability

The site is free and provided as it is. We try to keep it working and accurate but do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or unchanged. We may change, pause or withdraw any part of it, including any game, without notice.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Because the site is free and nothing on it has monetary value, we are not liable for any loss of sparks, Codex progress or settings, or for indirect losses. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts where you live. Questions: hello@corvathane.com.
